Find Your Blush Shade

Rose suits almost everyone and is the safest starting point if you have never worn colour on the cheek. Coral warms a complexion and works particularly well on olive and golden undertones.

Peach sits between the two and reads as the most natural of the range in daylight. Pink lifts fair and light complexions. Magenta carries real weight on deep skin, where softer tones tend to vanish rather than register.

Where to Apply Blush

The apples first, found by smiling and noticing what rises. Work outward and slightly upward toward the temple, following the cheekbone rather than crossing it, which keeps the effect lifted instead of dragging the face down.

A little across the bridge of the nose and the very top of the forehead mimics what sun does naturally, and it is the difference between looking made up and looking like you have been outside. Less is easier to fix than more, so start with almost nothing on the finger.
